My family is in India and since I started using the digital camera I have always found it difficult to send pictures to my family. You could get your photos printed through Walgreens or Walmart and mail them physically to India but admit it, its quite a pain doing that (Yeah, I am lazy). Then I came across itasveer which is a pretty neat service.
It automatically connects with your Picasa or Flickr accounts so you don’t have to upload any of your pictures to itasveer (very smart feature in my opinion). All you do is: login, select your pictures, enter shipping address in India, and checkout. Snap, snap and the pictures will show up at your designated address in India. An added bonus is that prints are quite inexpensive so its a pretty good deal overall.
I believe snapfish and zoom.in also offer such services, so give these a try if you send photos to India on a regular basis.

Hi Rahul,
This is Ashish from itasveer. Thanks a ton for your appreciative note.
Rahul,
Indeed it is quite accommodating to have such services that catalyze our laziness!
I have tried all the above services, an addition to your list would be gkvale.com. They do a pretty neat job as well. Bottom line: I’m just glad that we have such excellent options to choose from.
Interesting…Ashish Goel (itasveer’s co-founder found my post and left me a comment. I am curious to know how he found my post – Ashish if you read this please let me know
